I've always had weird little ambitions for myself: to see a book of mine in a charity shop, to go on Desert Island Discs, to be a talking head on a music documentary. Amazingly, I've managed to cross that last one off in Set the Night on Fire, a new documentary about the life and work of Ewan MacColl, produced by Unity House for Sky Arts. It aired last Saturday and has already been repeated, so keep your eye out for further repeats, and features artists like Christopher Eccleston, Barbara Dickson and Harp and a Monkey reinterpreting MacColl's work.
