You never know what you're going to get with Twelfth Day, a duo I have loved from their inception in Manchester almost a decade ago. Graduates from the RNCM and steeped in the folk traditions of their native Scotland, Twelfth Day have always loved experimentation, and their intrigue and curiosity has taken them all around the globe, immersing themselves in the traditions – and training – of others.

I was so fortunate to be invited to write their new promotional biography as they gear up for the release of their new album, and get a sneak listen of the tracks.
