I feel like I've struck gold: I've been appointed the postdoctoral researcher for the National Folklore Survey for England project, which runs until the end of December 2026. I'll be working with a team across three universities, and supported by project partners The Folklore Society, The Folklore Library and Archive and Folklore Museums Network, to interrogate the folklore of England.

One of my first jobs was to get an online presence underway, so take a look at the new project website.

We're busy getting the draft questions ready for testing, and then it's a case of handing over to Ipsos UK for the conducting of the survey itself. I'm so excited to see what happens next... More soon!
