On 9 August, I had the rather surreal experience of appearing live on Radio Four's Today programme, alongside Anthony Gormley. In order to celebrate Arts Council England's 75th birthday, the programme wanted to speak to two artists supported by ACE – one whose successful career got off to a flying start thanks to ACE, and me, a newly supported artist.
